Editorial Process:

Generating new content in KAAHE goes through 9 steps:

• Phase 1. Receiving English content from a licensor.
• Phase 2. Reviewing/Editing content.
• Phase 3. Validating English texts.
• Phase 4. Translating English texts into Arabic.
• Phase 5. Adding, reviewing or validating attached images/media.
• Phase 6. Validating Arabic translation.
• Phase 7. In some cases a final verification by licensor is executed.
• Phase 8. Reviewing the final content by the chief-in-editor.
• Phase 9. Publishing the content.

• Regular reviews (held on every July) are carried out by the editorial board to keep the medical and health information accurate, consistent and up-to-date.
• The agenda in KAAHE is specified mainly for the world health days (like breast cancer day, diabetes day, etc.). The source of the agenda’s events is WHO. Agenda events are updated automatically every year.
• The “Health Care Institutions” section is still in its initial stages. The facilities available in the directory were added by the KAAHE team before launching the website, and no more items have been added since then.
• Personal Health Tools were taken from the portal of NGHA. The NGHA website is certified by HON.
